At this time, the Friends of the Umatilla Library are actively recruiting members. "Friends" purpose is to enhance the quality of the library's collection and to support patron services. If you are interested in working with a group of people that are actively supporting and enhancing our community, please call the library.
Learn to read and write for free! Lake County Library System is proud to offer a FREE countywide Adult Literacy Program. Trained volunteer tutors are located at branch and member libraries, as well as two satellite locations, Eustis and Round Lake Elementary School. Tutors meet with adult learners for one-on-one sessions and small group classes.
